You may notice the categories below are now present in our forums. I have set up these categories as a way to let our members know which areas are available to whom. See the categories and descriptions below:
~ Members Only ~ All members who have registered, confirmed their registration via email, and posted an introduction
~ Business Members Only ~ Access is restricted to members who are currently paid Business Members.
~ Mom's Only ~ These areas are restricted to Moms Only. If you are not able to view these areas you must request membership to this group by visiting your User CP, the go to the bottom of the options list on the left. Click on Group Memberships. Now select this group and join it. Only Moms will be approved.
~ Dad's Only ~ These areas are restricted to Dads Only. If you are not able to view these areas you must request membership to this group by visiting your User CP, the go to the bottom of the options list on the left. Click on Group Memberships. Now select this group and join it. Only Dads will be approved.
~ Grandparent's Only ~ These areas are restricted to Grandparents Only. If you are not able to view these areas you must request membership to this group by visiting your User CP, the go to the bottom of the options list on the left. Click on Group Memberships. Now select this group and join it. Only Grandparents will be approved.
~ Public ~ These areas are open to the general public, and you do not have to be a registered member to view them.
~ Confirmed Members Only ~ These areas are only viewable by Confirmed Members. A confirmed member is a member who has had face to face contact with an existing member. Once confirmation is made let the administrators know so we can change your status.
~ Admin's & Mod's Only ~ These areas are only viewable by the Administrators & Moderators.
~ Varied Permissions ~ You will see this category in the main forums when the sub forums have more than one type of permissions category within it.
I hope this will make you feel more secure about who is able to view your posts in what forums. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
